Do you mind posting the 1-60 draft picks if you are an insider?

Thanks! ;D

Well, we'll all find out in 3 days.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

I noticed nbadraft.net recently moved Jerel up to 43 (the Heat!) and Wes down to 56 (Portland) after they'd been stuck in San Antonio's picks at 51 and 53 for a while.  But yeah, it's a mock, so who knows.

Hards Alumni

A couple of notes... "officially" this is "my" mock draft... Chad Ford had "nothing" to do with this draft... I didn't want to comment on any of the picks individually so as to not get this removed...  ;)

-harden doesn't fall that far
-mullens going to pistons i think
-meeks 60?  what the hell?  he could go late 1st round, and he probably will considering he stayed in the draft

no love for MU here

drewm88

If you ask me, Harden should fall further. I think he and DeRozan are vastly overrated. But hey, I don't do this for a living.

Haven't the NBAers learned that Euros don't fit well in the NBA? Yes, there are more Euros now than ever, but you're not going to get someone who will help you immediately.

It's only been a reason to take a flier on a young kid who won't affect your cap numbers for a few years. :/

Here's a lock. Bucks are taking Flynn if he's still there when they pick. A little birdie told me so.

You mean they don't think Luke Ridnour's leading them to a title?

Hopefully, we'll be mocking Ford's mock.

I don't get a lot of the players being drafted as high as they are.  B.J. Mullins at 18... what did this kid do at Ohio St that makes you go "wow, he could help an NBA ballclub"... I get it, hes 7' tall, but the man isn't very good.

And honestly, all the Euros is crap.  I would guess that about 10% of the euros pan out to be contributors to an NBA club

and lastly, if the Bucks end up choosing Jrue Holliday, that would officially end any sort of cheering for the Bucks that I might have.

I agree, Jrue is another bust to be for the Bucks.

I do have to disagree with your Euro assessment... Ricky Rubio is going to be a stud.

Mullens is going that high because teams always need big men, and he happens to be the second best big man in an AWFUL draft.

ChicosBailBonds

I listened to Chad Ford on the radio yesterday evening and how he was championing paying college players. That's all I needed to know about his bigger grasp of college athletics.  Paying the players would destroy over half of college athletic teams, including places like Marquette.

This guy did not impress.

Hards Alumni

a flat rate or stipend of $5000 would be a bad idea?

and it would ruin MU how?

Because of Title IX you would have to do it for all 14 teams.  You can't pay the men's basketball team and not pay the women's outdoor track team.  EVERY sport at MU loses money except for men's hoops.  It would kill programs across the country that don't have football because the law would require you pay EVERY student athlete of EVERY sport.

That's before even factoring in the pandora's box you open when $5K is deemed not enough, etc, etc.

It would destroy college athletics and relegate it to about 50 schools where all the high profile talent goes because they could afford to do it.

BrewCity83

Maybe we can get "Mr. Change" in the White House to change Title IX.

NBADraft.net's most recent update has McNeal going to the Heat and Matthews to Boston.  Now that would be great.

Damn.  Looks like Mr. Ford was right on.   Brutal.    Feel sick for Jerel and Wes.

Well, the bright side is that Crean can't put any more "Recruits in the NBA" on his IU media guide.

That depends, they can still make it as free agents.  Did not having Crean and his contacts in the NBA hurt McNeal and Matthews?

Kudos to Ford, he's still dead wrong on paying players but he got this one right.

Chicos is right.

Crean claims Ron Howard  ::) so I guess he can claim McNeal, Wes, and/or DJ if they land on an NBDL team.
