Too many, Georgetwon will not be a top 25 team.

DJO's Pump Fake

There will not be 6 Boring Ten teams in the Top 25 by the end of the year.

Ellenson Guerrero

'Nova is under-ranked IMHO. They bring everyone back from a final four run and have a top 5 recruiting class. Sounds like enough to put them next to UK and KU.

Can kentucky really make that big of a jump?  from getting two of the best players in the nation in a year, i bet calipari could in the Conf USA, but the SEC is a little bit tougher...

sounds a little bit like horse hockey to me...

Take a look at the roster again.  They lose two starters off that team(Cunningham/Anderson) and their top reserve(Clark) to graduation.  The only returning front court players are Pena who was a part time player, and Sutton who redshirted.

They will be good, but there's bound to be a drop off.

Take a look at Katz top 25 .... Interesting that they both came out on the same day

The poll linked to in the original post has Louisville ranked 15th.

I like Katz's preview over Parrish's.  Nova and WVA will be tough.  I also like Cinn as a darkhorse team in Big East.

I realized i miscounted... I didn't see Georgetown that high up.  I thought they would be lower or off the board with comparison to Parrish's.  Maybe i should go back to school and learn to count...

The incoming guys are VERYgood, including two excellent bigs(particularly Yarou). Along with Duke transfer Taylor King, this is a very very deep team with a number of lights out shooters (including King).  I suspect that you may be underestimating this team.

Not saying they aren't good.  But I think a lot of what made last year's Nova team special was chemistry and senior leadership.  They weren't always the most talented team on the floor, but Cunningham, Anderson and to a lesser extent Clark willed them into better performance.  That's not the kind of thing you replace right away, and I don't think Reynolds is the kind of guy that can do it.

Also, outside of Stokes, no one on that team is a lights out shooter.  Reynolds shot 34% from beyond the arc last year, Fisher was 31%, Redding was 30%.  In his year at Duke, King shot 37%.  That's not exactly stellar shooting by any stretch of the imagination.

We'll have to see how it plays out.  %'s notwithstanding, Nova has guys that can get very hot from treyland.  With as many shooters as they have, someone is bound to be"on".  When they are all in synch, Katie bar the door.  We'll need to compare notes on Nova next spring.  In the meantime, my suspicion is that Nova will be very good.  Fianl 4 again...?  Who knows, luck and injuries and the draw are big factors in NCAA success.  In the BE, Nova could well be overtaken by a solid WVU team.
