If I am rememberig correctly Haslem dropped a bunch of weight between Florida and the NBA, although his college physique and Blair's were very different.

And I'm pretty sure Udonis Haslem went undrafted whereas Dejuan Blair will be a lottery pick.

Ah yes, forgot about that.  Did Haslem make a stop in between college the NBA, or am I confusing him with someone else.

I wasn't saying their situations were exactly the same, just trying to think of another player that drastically changed his physique after college.

Quote
After leaving Florida in 2002, with his weight in excess of 300 pounds and having been a late-preseason roster cut with the Atlanta Hawks, Haslem signed with Chalon-Sur-Saone, a professional team in France. While averaging 16.1 points and 9.4 rebounds per game, Haslem also managed to lose 70 pounds over the course of that year, which resulted in him getting a spot in the NBA summer leagues.

Haslem played in Europe.

IMO, the biggest problem with people like Blair is that you don't know if this is a temporary or permanent change in diet and workout.  Once he is drafted, will he go right back to Mc Donalds or will he stick with it like Haslem has.

Robert Traylor 2.0? I sure hope not, because I'd really like to see Blair in a Bucks uniform!
