Hey, Lazar can brag to his friends back in NY that he made 2nd team All-Wisconsin as judged by (probably) 3-4 guys in the Green Bay Press Gazette sports department.  That'll impress 'em.

I don't understand why the Journal Sentinal does an All-Wisconsin team for colleges and I really don't understand why the Press Gazette would do it.  There are only four (4) teams to choose from!!!

Don't get me wrong, it was an interesting article on its own.  I just don't understand why they have to frame it around an "all state team"

Also, the whole premise of the first part of the article, that McNeal was lightly regarded/recruited, is a joke seeing as how his final RSCI ranking was 57 while Matthews' was 61.

bilsu

McNeal had the most points, but if I could have just one of the three comeback next year it would be Matthews.

Your right, why would a small newspaper, in the middle of nowhere, write an article that is interesting enough to get eyeballs from chat boads like this one?  I'm sure they will lose readership over this, just plain stupid. Isn't there is a highschool tennis match they could be covering instead?  I get mad everytime anyone has anything to say.

WOW!!  Were you the author of the article?  Sorry to offend.

He was making a point, and I agree with him.

It's a crappy point, though.  The only reason they're getting us to read their article is because the hilarity therein is tantamount to an Onion piece.

If the article was interesting and well written, then Rawdog would have a good point.  It's not that I disagree with Rawdog's sentiment, but it was a poor choice of articles to make that particular point with.
