right now, UCONN is missing out on the tourney, which has to be the biggest dissapointment in the Big East, apparently when Marquette beat them at their place, it just started the snowball

pure genius stuff by Bill Simmons, remember to read day 2

You could say that we started the snowball, but LSU beat them before we did.  They basically have lost to every quality team they played, regardless of location.  They are a younger, quicker, worse shooting version of us.  Only Adrien and Austrie had any kind of D I experience coming into this year.  I watched the Providence game, they probably played their best half of the season in the first half and the worst in the second half.  Lots of athletes, but right now that can't shoot from any position to save their lives.  Even Adrien missed a couple of uncontested dunks on Saturday.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

UConn's guard play has been horrible as Price has struggled to adjust after being out two years.  The Huskys are basically a team of many talented bigs who are still learning led by inexperienced guards.  But, give them a year and they'll be just fine.
