ONLY vote for Jerel! It allows you to vote for 3 Seniors. You aren't helping Jerel unless you "bullet vote" for Jerel and Jerel alone.

Actually, I think you are helping Jerel more if you vote for him and two of the lowest percentage people as well.  I am not a stats guy, but I believe that in the end voting that way will drag down the top player the most, as opposed to just voting for Jerel.

Can someone clarify this so we get the most bang for our vote!

SERocks

Just ran my own test on it.

Voting for Jerel and two others does nothing to harm Jerel.  It doesn't help him either, but it doesn't hurt him.  As long as you don't vote for anyone ahead of him.

Fact is, we have to vote for Jerel as much as we can.

Anyone think the results are "stuck"?

We sent out an email blast .. DJ went from 300 votes to 1000 in 2 days.  One would imagine people voted for Jerel in similar numbers.

But Jerel has stayed at 20% and TWill at 31% for the past several days.

Highly unlikely that voting for TWill was in the exact same proportions as Jerel.

I'm voting for Jerel a half dozen or more times a day.  Use each computer you have and text your vote.  I also use CCleaner on my computers to get rid of temporary internet files, cookies, etc.  After I use it, I can vote again.
HILLTOP SENIOR SURVEY from 1984 Yearbook:
Favorite Drinking Establishment:

1. The Avalanche.              7. Major Goolsby's.
2. The Gym.                      8. Park Avenue.
3. The Ardmore.                 9. Mugrack.
4. O'Donohues.                 10. Lighthouse.
5. O'Pagets.
6. Hagerty's.

I think the results are stuck too.  Hansbrough has stayed at 11% too.

I'd guess there would be some change in at least one of the top 4.

Here's the quick and easy way of voting as much as you like.

1. Vote here.  http://www.seniorclassaward.com/vote/mens_basketball_2008_09/

2. Go here: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html

This will display "flash cookies" .. find "seniorclassawards.com" and click "delete website.

Go back to #1 and refresh that page.  You can now vote again.

(And don't bother setting the slider to zero for seniorclass.com .. that does not work.)

Man .. these MUScoop email blasts to vote for McNeal must be a huge flop.

McNeal was steady at 18% for weeks.  He actually DROPPED to 17% yesterday, and is tied with another guy.

Well, we tried.

To be honest, with his recent play, it's hard to justify a sweeping movement to vote for him.  I just feel wrong doing it, especially since he's not a huge presence in the community, and his major is on the easier end.

I've read the bios of the other finalists, and they are stronger than McNeal.  Even as far as gameplay, he's struggling lately.

I'll continue to vote for him once a day, but I am not going to support any bot movements to steal him the award.
