Marquette Travel Party Arrives In Boise Wednesday Afternoon
       
Marquette's 150-person travel party arrived safely in Boise, Idaho, Wednesday afternoon for the 2009 NCAA Championship, completing a near flawless journey from Milwaukee.

MU's usual crew of players and team personnel were joined by various boosters and members of the administration along with the pep band and cheerleaders.  The flight of nearly four hours landed shortly after 5 p.m. local time and a police escort guided the three-bus affair to the team headquarters.

The travel party was treated to a scenic view over the mountains as the plane approached Boise and temperatures in the 60's were also welcomed by the visitors.

On deck for the team Wednesday night is dinner and team meetings.

Thursday morning the team will practice at Boise High School before heading to Taco Bell Arena for media obligations and an open workout on the court.
