North Carolina plays two games in the ACC tournament without point guard Ty Lawson, squeeking by NIT bound Virginia Tech before losing to FSU. Guess ol' Roy can't overcome the loss of his floor leader.

To those who say Lawson is better than James, the dropoff to MAC reruit Acker is far greater than the one to HS All American Frasor. In addition, Williams has several other top 100 recruits on his bench to choose from.

I guess I looked at the post a different way.  The Tarheels, with all of their talent, lose without their starting PG.  Makes me feel better about our loses after losing DJ.

I don't think his point had anything to do with Frasor turning down MU.  He didn't even mention it.  He just said that UNC has struggled without their point guard, and they have a backup point guard who was a HS All American.  He was comparing that to MU who doesn't have a former HS All American to turn to as a backup, and has struggled to win as well.

On a player level, not sure if that really points out that James is better than Lawson, or if it's an argument for the opposite.  However it won't affect my daily votes for the Cousy Award.  I'll continue to vote for the guy who is currently in first place.

The "obsession" is yours, as people with reading interpretation skills have been quick to point out.
