senior night coming up
« on: March 04, 2009, 09:09:57 PM »
As much as we have all complained about what should or shouldn't happen on the court, we aren't the ones laying it on the line each night on the court. I for one am so excited for a chance to honor these senior guys on Saturday. They have stayed for four years and seemed to play together well and reach new heights each year.  It has already become one of the classes to go down in the history books.

I hope they crush the orange.  ;D

The "So hard to say goodbye" video is easily one of the most hilarious and endearing things I've ever seen.
-Did you hear I finally graduated?
-Yeah, and just a shade under a decade too, all right.
-You know, a lot of people go to college for seven years.
-I know, they're called doctors.

this Saturday is going to be the most emotional game of my time at MU. After watching these seniors for four years and see them mature into who they are now its going to be hard to say goodbye.

After watching Jame's press conference the other day, I realized just how much he has changed since his freshman year. He is such a well spoken man now.

It's going to be a great night and I can't wait for it. Lets go Warriors!

For those of us who aren't able to attend the game... does anyone know if the senior night ceremonies are usually recorded and posted anywhere? MU Athletics or MUTV Sports? I know full court cannot be relied on for coverage, as they generally cut out mid-handshake.

Anyone know if there's a pre-game presentation or anything like that?

Not if they will be doing it like they have under Judas.

Usually a video and jersey given to them after the game with the chance to say a few words to the crowd.

I've recorded the past 2-3 senior nights, putting them on Youtube.  I will be there again.  Videos will be posted on CS sometime Saturday night.

Thanks!  It's been a few years since I've been up for a Senior night and that sounds familiar.

Would someone be able to record the ceremony for those of us unable to attend or watch on TV?
