Defense v. Pitt

If DJ would have still been around, my guess is that they would have gone man-to-man with Pitt with DJ guarding Fields.  My guess is now that you almost have to go zone.  Not only to protect the inside with Blair, but because I can't see who is going to guard Fields.  Certainly not Acker...and I'm not sure McNeal has the bulk.  Maybe Wes?

But is Pitt a good outside shooting team?  I'm not sure if a zone will work real well.

I worry far more about Sam Young on the wing than Fields at the point.  Fields is a great player but I think we have the guards to match up with him, tough to see anyone that can go head to head with Young for 40 minutes.  I agree a zone may work the best, as Pitt isn't great from beyond the arc, with the exception of a sharpshooter they have coming off the bench.

In the end pace of play will likely determine the winner.  IF we can finally get some calls driving to the hoop we'll be in good shape, if this becomes a wrestling match we're in for a long night.
