I was just wondering if anyone had any clue who would back up Acker.  Cubes?  Does anyone think Matthews or McNeal should take on the role when Acker is on the bench?

OR...

Is there anyway Buzz flips the PG duties to McNeal or Matthews and goes with a line up like... Wes, JM, Hayward, Butler, Burke and has Acker still come off the bench?

Thoughts... Speculations?

Cubes is not a point guard - I don't see him as a legitimate option.  It's going to have to be Wes and Jerel sharing the load with Mo.

I can see Jerel moving down and playing the point when needed. Then we have Jimmy/Wes playing the two, Lazar/Wes playing the three, Lazar/Fulce (?), and Burke/Hazel in the five. If we are going to want to finish the year strong, we will need production the 4 and 5 spots.

I think they'll need minutes from two of three people- Cubillan, Hazel, or Fulce.

Cubillan can play the two when McNeal rests, with Matthews running point.

Fulce/Hazel can come in for Burke or Lazar, allowing Jimmy to slide into the 2/3 role when Wes needs a blow.

I don't think we'll see Acker and Cubillan at the same time. A breakdown like this would work for me-

Acker   32
McNeal   36
Matthews 35
Hayward   34
Burke   22
Butler   24
Cubillan   9
Fulce/Hazel 8

Needless to say, they better stay out of foul trouble.
