Wisconsin is like Notre Dame and Duke to me.......The more they lose the happier I am.

I just want them all to lose, and lose often.  No exceptions.

Those of you planning on cheering for Bucky just consider a few things please.

1 No Marquette fan should ever cheer for Wisconsin. Am I wrong???

I don't know if it's because I'm not originally from Wisconsin, but I don't really hate them so much as I find them a brief annoyance from time to time.   I'm from Chicago and despise Illinois, but since Crean bolted IU has now vaulted to the top of my "ladder of hatred".  Now I have to root for Wisconsin and Illinois at least twice a year each.

HomeCourtAdvantage

Vegas has the line at Wisconsin favored by 10 points, O/U is 123 1/2 pts.  I like the Badgers covering and the under.... so I guess GO BADGERS!!!
Sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

StillAWarrior

I know it's cliche, but my two favorite teams are Marquette and whoever is playing Wisconsin.
Never wrestle with a pig.  You both get dirty, and the pig likes it.

ErickJD08

I will never cheer for Indiana.

BTW... Definitely bet the under.  Every time in the Big Ten.

Ari Gold

current line is WI by 9 1/2 and O/U of 124.

I guess I want to see  It's Indiana win. That team is going to bad for a long time to come and I'd rather see Bo Ryan's team beaten It's more than it being WI, there are a few people that attend Madison that annoy me... it's personal. That would eliminate WI from tournament possibility.  Ultimately if the game ended like Penn St/Ill that would be best, with neither team cracking 40.

And from what I've seen this year, a completely plausible scenario.  I don't understand how people can even defend B10/11 ball...

Hards Alumni

cheering for UW.

no doubt.

I realize 'who they are' but they are in the rearview mirror as far as I am concerned.

I'd rather have our RPI go up than to see Bucky lose.

they aren't making the tournament anyway.

wrong. they're in just about every projected tournament field right now: http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/39761877.html

should they be? probably not. I can understand if you just became a Marquette fan 1, 2, 3, or even 4 years ago MAYBE cheering for Bucky tonight. But i would sincerely hope that if you've been a diehard MU fan you're entire life you wouldn't cheer for UW in any circumstance.

With UW@Madison's remaining schedule:

@ Indiana
@ Michigan State
Michigan
@ Minnesota
Indiana

They'll probably win 3 of 5.  Minnesota may be slumping, but they won't lose to UW@Madison.  The rodents have less than a chance at Michigan St.  If they don't make a run in the Big 11 tournament I don't see any reason they should make the NCAA tourney.  If they win out their season, then I could see them as an 8 or 7 seed.

F'em Bucky, On Wisconsin!

did someone really say that on this board? i assume that should be in teal?

GasPasser

I cannot support the Ugly Tan Man. His betrayal still stings. May he never win.

Pepperoni_Cannoli

Watch the Rutgers/'Nova game on ESPN2 instead; its impact on MU Basketball is infinitely larger.

I sure hope you are cheering for IU against the Badgers!!!  IU only down 4.

TallTitan34

I'd rather the Badgers win.  Crean winning hurts our RPI.

Daniel

I must say go uw.  Warching hte game now - Indy was in a zone!

Gotta luv that

haha, liked the idea of cheering for a natural disaster!

i'm happy with the uw win- this is probably the only time i'll ever say that!

muhoosier260

so UW won. unfortunately i don't think that really helps our sos (as bad as indiana is) but a UW loss definitely would not have helped

Wisconsin is useless for our power numbers.

We play the toughest schedule in the country tomorrow. After that, we play three top ten ranked teams. As ever, our power numbers are built in conference. Win two of three on the road and our numbers will jump higher then if Wisconsin won out until the NCAA Tournament.
