Someone explain to me how taking away the 3 point shot will enhance basketball!

well, IMHO, the 3 negates effective defense..., w/o the 3 a deficit of 7 is insurmountable in the waning moments of a game..., in fact I have often thought that there should be, if in fact the 3 is valid, a 5 point shot from mid court.

few things are as frustrating as watching a team catch up w/ a 'foul and 3' strategy- maybe there should be 3 freethrows after the 1 minute point in the game.

So while looking at that poll I couldn't help but notice another one down below....I laughed but still thought that for the only newspaper in the city it didn't seem too professional but whatever. This is what it said: "Marquette and Syracuse shot a combined 27 for 50 (54%) from the free-throw line Sunday night. Could you do better?" I guess its an honest enough question lol
