The ESPN announcer was just talking about the MU/Chicago connection and he referred to Bo, Doc and others who went up north to play for the Marquette Golden Eagles.

I'm coming to terms with the name change -- slowly -- but it's just flat out wrong to say that Bo and Doc came to Milwaukee to play for the Golden Eagles.  Ugh!

ran into Tony Smith at a Bucks game, introduced myself and pointed out that my friends and I are all 'Warriors', to which he replied.."Me too.  I'm a Warrior." 
Had a sandwich w/ Earl and Larina Tatum after Gtown and both loved my '1992 National Warrior Day" button.  Larina told me how angry she was that they changed the name- felt the 'last warrior' was a proud representation of native americans.  Point being; I believe they all feel as we all do.  WARRIORS FOREVER!
