Notre Dame could win the Big East by default
« on: January 14, 2007, 10:34:03 AM »
I have said for awhile now that I think this ND team is good but overrated.  Now I take a look at their schedule and they have a decent shot at the BE title.  Who the hell put this together?  They don't play UConn or Pitt.  Their hardest game the remainder of the season is at Syracuse.  They also get to play Marquette and Providence only once and it is in South Bend.

They may not win the BE, but they will get a first round bye.  Let me be the first to say they will lose that first game in the BE tournament and then also go out in round 1 of the NCAA tournament.
