I moved from Chicago to minneapolis last year and found that there are no bars up here like the Schoolyard or Four Shadows in Chicago.  If there were one, we have a pretty big group of alum that would be interested in having a place to call home for MU games.

In the past we've been going to bars like Majors / Grumpy's, which have no affiliation to MU.  Anyone know of a place?

SaintPaulWarrior

We are getting a good group of people at Alary's in downtown Saint Paul.  He puts the sound on and he even went out and bought a MU banner to hang.  www.alarys.com

Maybe for the Tennessee game we'll check it out... I like that they got a banner.  I'm guessing they won't have the IPFW game on.  Is that bar supposed to be like hooters?

We did majors last night in golden valley, about 20 people showed up... and one pathetic uw fan.

MARQKC

The Marquette Club of Minnesota has a Facebook page. As noted, Majors in Golden Valley seems to be the bar of choice.

Alary's scenery cannot be beat!  In the words of borat, "It's a nice!".

Click on that above link and then on the staff section.....
