Bring back the bumblebee uni's

I have heard much about these uniforms and I think we should bring them back to reaffirm MU as being the coolest & hippest basketball squad in college basketball

Weren't these jerseys deemed illegal by the NCAA for their 'psychedelic' effect on opposing players?

If I remember correctly, it had to do with the refs having issues with their ability to identify player numbers on the jerseys.

I think that is right...something about the horizontal stripes, which is ridiculous.  With Buzz as the coach, it would be very cool to bring back the bumble bees.

The current ncaa rules indicate that the torso of a jersey must be of a solid color (Rule: Art 1).

*This really sucks, as I would LOVE to see the uniforms brought back for the tourney. Either way MU should go back to have new uniforms for the tournament every year.

can we bring back the road unis from 69-70?  Gold stripe on the top under the Marquette and above the number and Gold pants with Blue stripe across the gold.  Matching socks (which the team voted not to wear).  The best

those were the inspiration for our current ones.

The Maurice Lucas jersey is the color blue that our current uniforms should be, instead of that aweful "Carolina" blue.

They do have jersey's in the AL as well on manikins but these pictures are of the framed jerseys they have nearby the bowling alley at the Annex.
