Why is ESPN still calling the football conference the Big East?

Do they have another year as the Big East?  I followed this saga closely and I am confused.

I'm pretty sure the new conferences don't "go live" until July 1.

Andy Katz notes in his 3-Point Blog today that the NCAA has officially recognized the "new" BE and has ratified the name change of the old BE to the AAC.  Result is that both now have auto bids to the NCAAs.  As for timing, I suspect the 7/1 date noted earlier in this thread would be correct.
