Anyone else plan on attending this game?  Or anyone have any idea when individual tickets will be going on sale?  I checked out the their ticket website and only season tickets are currently being offered.

Any info regarding the area (bars, restaurants, hotels) will be welcomed.

Thanks

ecompt

Damon's is right across the street from the arena. Decent burger place, large bar, pretty nice atmosphere.

I do not mean to hijack this thread, but I checked Ticketmaster just to see if the game was listed.

It's not.

But I noticed that MU's game on the 28th is against the Presbyterian Blue Hose?-(

Here's the explanation: http://www.gobluehose.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=18100&KEY=&ATCLID=1505337

I don't know which one is better: Blue Hose or Blue Stocking Presbyterian?!?

If you can make the time, drive over to Chapel Hill which is less than 30 minute drive. The town is one of the top college towns in the country, the campus is absolutely gorgeous and the Dean Dome has a UNC basketball museum adjacent to it that is a must see for any college hoops fan.

There are great restaurants in the Chapel Hill area as well. here's a link that might be useful.

BTW, my son graduated from UNC in May so it has become my adopted school and the "other" BB team I root for all year. I've had more than a few chances to talk about us beating them in '77 with some of the parents of my son's friends over the last four years but whenever I run into the dad of one of his friends who graduated from NC State in '74 (my year as well) he always reminds  me of them beating us that year...... :(

I am an alum living in Raleigh and we're working with Marquette to get tickets to that game.  So far, NCSU has been difficult in releasing tickets to Marquette.  If you're interested in going to the game, email me at mutodd5@yahoo.com

As for visiting UNC in Chapel Hill, I would highly recommend it. My wife is an alum and if you have any questions, just let me know.

As for Damons, they actually are closed.  We're trying to organize a pregame event with  Marquette.  If you have other questions, feel free to email me directly.
