I am watching the NBA playoffs and after seeing the Cav's intro I think Marquette should do something like that. If I find a vid of it I will post it
They started off with the music of teh dark side from Star wars while introducing the celtics
then a sweet video and the destrcution of the cavaliers logo on the screen with some flames shooting out of it.
Then the introductions came in
a vid that shows images but isnt too great:

I like our current one though those explosions are nice.
I don't want to copy anything Cleveland does.

Two years ago during a TO in a game vs Nova, TC looked at the scorers table and yelled turn it up, louder and motioned with his hands. Sure enough the piped in NBA Music was in seconds louder. My question...will Buzz have the poise to do this? Or will he be too worried about coaching his team etc. TC's priority of marketing and loud noises, made him one of the Big East's top 16 coaches, hopefully Buzz will make certain that Zombie Nation can be heard by all 27,987 recording breaking fans in the BC.

Okay, I've been thinking this for awhile... I love "Where the Streets Have No Name", but I really think that the video stuff goes on too long and it takes too long for the song to get going. Then the announcer has to tell folks to "get on their feet"? Shouldn't the intro music, etc. already get folks pumped up? Anyone else think they should make a change now that it's a new era?

Tom Crean had an indefinable capacity for "crowd-forming." A rare gift in our media age.
Marshall McLuhan would be a TC fan.
Buzz...well, who knows?

Buzz is going to change from Where the Streets Have No Name to Foggy Mountain Breakdown and Earl Scruggs. Afterall he's from Texas.

my only question is why are you wasting time watching the nba playoffs?? :-X

these NBA introductions are ridiculous, even David Stern thinks so
although playing the dark side music from Star Wars for the opposition starting lineup is pretty funny.
