Halfway through the show as they were cutting to a comercial break, they showed a band playing inside an arena and the band members had red sweaters on. I could have sworn the sweathers had an Indiana "I" on them? Anyone else catch that? All I was thinking was, "Oh great, It's Indiana. Indiana?!"

Was that a slip, and you have hinted at ever so slightly you are going to win it all, and those final games will be "easier" compared to this one which was the "hard" one and you are going to be crowned champ.

Or are you just saying the competition is more difficult in this one, which you mentioned right after? I know you are not allowed to reveal anything, but in my opinion, this is a sign that you are going to win it all!

I do think this was a harder board in comparison to the final games, and I do think there was definitely more pressure going into the semifinals. The semifinals being "hard" should not be interpreted as any comment on my performance in the finals.

The kid from Harvey Mudd seems like he is very good with the buzzer so hopefully he doesn't steal a victory off easy questions like he did in single Jeopardy today.

Double Jeopardy round saw McGee surge, and the guy from Mississippi State establish himself. Going into Final Jeopardy Chainsaw McGee had 15,000 points, Harvey Mudd in the lead with 17k or thereabouts, and MSU guy in 3rd. Final Jeopardy category was something like "Famous Journals," with the question: "This arctic explorer reported evidence of earlier Norwegian explorers at the pole." MSU guy gets it right: Robert Scott. His wager puts him at about 17k or so, I forget exactly. Our girl gets it right too. Her wager: All in. 30k. Harvey Mudd guy misses. Chainsaw McGee didn't miss a single question the whole game. Very disciplined game, perfectly played. She's leading after round one of the Finals. What a wonderful representative of our school.

I am surprised you wagered so little after the previous wagers, but since it was a guess, you probably were correct to not wager much!

I too was surprised how the Wisconsin crowd embraced you, I don't think the next trip to the Kohl Center for Marquette will be as warm.

It seemed like you all had a fun time, and even did your group hug at the end. I liked the Mississippi State guy, but the Harvey Mudd guy seemed a little crazy... I liked how he dropped his buzzer halfway through the game... he seemed to catch fire after that as well!

Congrats again and good luck paying off your college debt! We all know MU isn't cheap.
