He got over that.
But, Omax for the award. His defense was awesome on Hawkins holding him to 2 for 12 and 1 for 8 from three. Ballgame.

I also should’ve shouted out Kam. Handled the offense when Kolek was out most of the way. He was great too. Got to the rim a few times and it opened up some other things for him.

I am a recovering “hater” I’ll be honest, but the effort today has absolutely earned massive respect. They will have more clunkers and will get substantially better, but I will never again question their effort.

My first thought was to give it to the bench - sort of like a field bet.
Chase, Jop, Sean, and Ben all had their moments, when they had to play more minutes than might have been expected. Then I realized you have to pick one guy. I thought Jop.
Then I thought about D. Not Jop.
OMax was our standout tonight. And good for him.

Didn’t have that stalled offense when Kolek was out. I saw confidence in Kam Jones.

For us to win the Team had to play their best. They all had great games, including the bench. Each player had a role and they accomplished the nearly impossible. The bench keep us in the game against a top team in the country.
They are all SOTG's today! This team is making history. Enjoy it.

I'm also on the O-Max bandwagon for this one. Awesome D, huge 3 with about 3:30 to go, incredible tip-in between the trees when we needed it.
I wouldn't object to any of the other candidates, either, but that was truly amazing D by him all night.
