Isn't a wolf moon just a nickname for the first full moon of the year? So I guess we prepare for it by...going about our lives?

Have you tried googling when you don't know what something is that's causing you anxiety?

In this case I can help you out. The wolf moon isn't a phenomenon, it's just the nickname for the first full moon of the year. It is no different than any other full moon.
