This chat got me looking into the Athletic, and I certainly enjoy the in-depth analysis for lots of comprehensive and hard-to-find-elsewhere stories. It’s worth the subscription fee, to be sure

Here’s an observation and question: I’ve followed maybe 6-8 sports and teams that I like, but I feel like that they then dominate my “Following” feed. I’m happy not to get inundated with NFL news or MMA/UFC crap like at ESPN, but I’m not as keen on having ‘minor stuff’ blocking me from seeing, say, more than just the headlines of a sport like the NBA (which I’m not a big enough fan to follow).

Any idea how to change any setting to get access to a wider range of topics/sports, without just going directly to sports that I have more fleeting interest in?
