I missed the entire game. The power went out in my building! Maybe somebody up.there thought this would make me less anxious? I dunno. Anyway, it sounds like it wasn't pretty....19 turns???!!! However a W is a W. Still a big win for the Warriors. It looks like Greg and Jlew did some damage off the bench.

So fed up with the turnovers under this dunce coach. So many are very correctable, yet it just continues year after year after year.
-
You didn't miss much. Never in doubt.

How bad was it Tower? Any positives or hope moving forward?

1. They fought back after blowing the lead.
2. Carton keeps looking better. Needs to cut down on TOs but played well.
3. Lewis really had a good game off the bench.

I am the wrong one to ask. Eternal optimist. And read the game thread and the post game discussions. SJU turned MU over a lot. That is what they do. MU punched first and were up double digits through 26 minutes. SjU made a run and took a lead 5 minutes later. MU steadied and it was a slugfest to the end. Like most other games, assessment is a Rorschach test.

Ty. Wow. Butler beat Creighton.

Creighton started the 2nd half on a 26-3 run as well.

Wow!! That's a bad loss for the Jays.
How many teams do you think the BEast will get? Concerned it may only be 4.

Decoursey had providence as last 4 in. Not sure how their resume is better than ours but I don’t think we want to finish below them. 5 max id say. The bottom 4 teams are pretty terrible.
Edit: 6 max, most likely 5 (I don’t think providence makes it)

Ya...it seems like a rough year for the league. Bouknight being out and Nova's Covid issues aren't great for us either. We need to find a way to get into the top 4 imo. The UCONN loss really hurt and the XU loss was crushing

Minimum 5. They aren’t putting the entire Big 10 and entire Big 12 conferences in. They need to find 68 teams to put in the field.

I’ll go with 6 Muggsy, but I would be absolutely floored if it’s less than 5.
Nova, Creighton, UConn, are essentially locks. X is pretty darn close w a NET in the 30s and 10-2, 3-2 record. SH is in really good shape with a NET nearly in the 40s and current 6-2 conference record.
MU is also in good shape if they continue to win games they should. If NET creeps up into the 50s, a .500 conference record with some high quality wins already in place should put MU at least in play in game range. Would definitely be on the bubble but good chance to get in.
6 is MUCH more likely than 4 imo

I certainly hope you're right Doctor V.. I guess I haven't studied the potential field in depth.

Carton, John, and Lewis all need stickum on there hands!

Floor is 3, ceiling is 6. I'd put the over/under at 4.5 and my money would be the over (5). As long as they get the games, Villanova, Creighton, and UConn look very solid. Seton Hall, Xavier, & Marquette all have a shot. Providence, despite what DeCourcy says, is in a group where they need to start winning. Their only somewhat meaningful win is SHU.
How teams do against the bottom four will be important. Yesterday was big for Marquette. I still think they need one more against the top-5 to really feel secure.

I'd say six assuming no bracket buster.... assuming there's even a BET.
What happens if Villanova gets covid for the BET? I could see any team not named DePaul or Georgetown going on a run and winning the BET. Hell, what about an BBC extreme situation where the top 4 teams all have Covid and miss the BET? Would the committee still take the BET winner as an auto bid?
The more I think about it, the more I think conference tournaments shouldn't decide the league's auto bid this year... though with such uneven schedules, I'm not sure regular season champions deserve it either
-
Can we not reschedule the postponed games in our conf?

I think the BE needs those games to improve their profile. Whether that's at MSG or as a make-up week. Nova hasn't played since 12/23 for instance which may knock them out as a 1 seed.
I don't see the conference scrambling to reschedule these missed games as it is.

There are a LOT of jokes to be made right there. I’ll let someone else take it.
