I’m usually glass half full but I have a bad feeling about this one and I hope I’m wrong.
It seems like Ed Cooley and Co oftentimes play MU very well and there are a lot of close games. I hope MU runs away with this one but if not it seems like the type of game where the pressure lies on our shoulders.
It’s a huge game, and Marquette has the more talented team, so let’s go out and show it and stay in the top 5/6 in conference that would lead to a bid.
I think it would be hard to finish 7th in this years BE (computer numbers down) and still get in. Not impossible, but very difficult

Lapses and bad decisions happen to almost every team. The key is not compounding them. We did the last couple minutes - don't let it bleed into the 2nd half and MU can be OK.

Not going to be up 15 on many teams who are shooting as well as PC is, especially on contested shots.

Yes, I watched every second. He’s too concerned with trash talking...last night with a kid that’s headed to the NBA. He needs to keep his mouth shut, stop the trash and get back to making free throws. If you don’t think it’s going to cost this team, maybe you need watch more closely yourself.

If he was trash talking and made it would you have been upset? Certain player trash talk to get their confidence up and get out of their head. Just because you may have let your game speak for itself in High school (Middle school? Grade school?) doesn't mean that that's for everyone.

17 points on 18 FGA is very inefficient. I was much more concerned with Watson's 18 points on 8 FGA. Duke's a good player, Koby was part of a good team performance defending him.

You don’t see an issue with the team’s FT shooting? Cain’s two misses and Koby’s three in the last 1:20 could’ve been a major issue without Garcia’s rebounds - but whatever makes you feel better.
So trash talking = toughness, who knew?

This team has faults, hitting their free throws at a respectable clip is not one of them. As for the trash talking, I'm fine with it, until he picks up a T.

Again, we extended the lead from 2 to 10, and scored 13 points in the last 3:36. I don't think there's a ton of substance to complain about there. To each their own.

Nope, bad argument. Post-game stats give zero indication (or weight) to in-game situations. Clutch free throws don’t happen in the first half.
