Consistent with what Koby and Theo said and did over the summer.    Consistent with Wojo's statements.

The patch looks cool, but Milwaukee is fortunate that none of the three gentlemen who shot at police the other night were killed when they fled the scene. Fiserv would likely have been burned to the ground if so. Close call!

I’m actually a big fan. They are oddly interesting and appealing to me.

Otherwise ...

Trump is God's gift to the Republican party...enjoy dealing with that base for the next 20 years.  Stand down and stand by Proud Boys.

Happy Thanksgiving to our troops overseas...who also leaned Biden as a whole.  Well Happy Thanksgiving to all our troops who have never been captured...the ones that have (POW) are losers.

MU continues its tradition of too many patches.

This summer when we saw a early glimpse of the Jersey and no AL patch, one friend commented:

“They’re putting AL over the crotch because Al had balls!”

Soon it was revealed that the AL was on the belt.

MU hoops never disappoints.

"Blue Lives Matter" only exists as a response to the original Black Lives Matter movement and its specific intent is to minimize and silence black voices. The Blue Lives Matter flag is a violation of US Flag code and therefore inherently anti-American. That is why the Blue Lives Matter movement is seen as racist and anti-American.

Thanks for proving my point.

Typical liberal loser response, to claim that any counterpoint is based on being triggered. Next time, for the love of God, try a more original insult. But you just go ahead and keep typing the word triggered because it’s the best your little mind can muster.

BLM actually stands for Black Lives Murder One Another at Disproportionately High Rates, but BLMOADHR didn’t fit on the patch. If my comments offends you, please disprove my point.

It is genuinely sad, and actually quite scary, that there are people who actually have those thoughts inside their head, let alone will go on the internet and actually put them out there for other people to see. The fact that people still, in 2020, feel comfortable being openly racist and are enabled to do so is a brutal eye opener on how far we still have to go.

But it does make for easy opportunities to trigger people.

Also, there is no such thing as “blue lives.”

Just pre-empting your lame comment. I will not find a new team, I’m plenty happy being critical of this one, and I reserve the right to do so until my loans are paid off. Retire yourself from this website if you have such an issue with other kinds of opinions, the ones held by 49% of the population apparently.

I have a nice, low key, BLM sticker on the rear hatch of my Golf.
It is an oval, you know like the airport code, for example AKC for Nantucket.
It could stand for Bureau of Land Management, but it doesn't.

On the subject of Antifa, I'm all in as well.
My father went to France and Germany, risked his life, lost 16 men his first day in combat to fight Faschiests.   Anti faschiests are not the problem, faschiests are the problem.

Don't mean to "trigger" anyone, I'm too old, too greatful, too mature, too loving to go for the bate.

Two days in a row on MUScoop is my limit, HAPPY THANKSGIVING.

In a vacuum none of these comments are racist. But when you use a comment like “Black Americans murder one another at disproportionately high rates compared to other ethnic groups.” In order to draw attention from the fact that black Americans are also killed at disproportionately high rates compared to other ethnic groups by police, which is what BLM is trying to fight. But trying to put blame on them, for something that has nothing to do with the issue at hand, just so you don't have to confront the actual issue. then you start crossing the line of racism or in the very least being an ostrich who is sticking their head in the sand.

“Sticking one’s head in the sand” or so you say, is also BLATANTLY RACIST. Thanks.

You are an absolute CLOWN if you think the respect and concern a self-described ethnic population has for its own people (as evidenced by rates of intra-ethnic violence) is irrelevant to how fervently it should expect other ethnic groups to care about it. It’s not a “red herring” to recognize the absolute hypocrisy in BLM and its inconsistent behavioral expectations for different populations of people in this country. I care deeply about the plight of Blacks in this country. I’m sick of lilly white folk like yourselves telling me I’m racist for thinking BLM and its nonsense policy proposals is a farce that cost Democrats a meaningful chance at change. Thank your local
BLM activist for the continued disintegration of race relations. Happy thanksgiving, go ignore the plight of the native american now.

“Everyone who disagrees with me is BLATANTLY racist.” - Most of the people in this forum, it seems.

When the viewpoint that people are disagreeing with is that Black Lives Matter, yes, the disagreeing people are blatantly racist. There’s really no arguing it.

The fact that you are so proud to pronounce an opposition to the fact that Black Lives Matter speaks only to you. You can play the victim all you want. You’re the problem, though.

The worst thing that happened to you is basketball coming back. You staying off of Scoop would’ve been best for you. But here we are. Abundantly clear you’re a racist and proud of it. So congrats on that. Good luck with the loan repayment. And welcome back to Scoop, Ners.

When everyone else seems to see the same problem and you're the only one that can't, maybe it's time to reexamine the source of said problem.

Or maybe it’s just the forum, idiot? Maybe it has a liberal and/or illogical bent?

Nope. It’s just you.

I did not say you were blatantly racist. Your response of attacks that are pretty unwarranted given what I responded with shows which of us is irrationally freaking out on a keyboard and which is calmly debating this.

White people have committed the vast majority of mass shootings, do you call on white people to deal with their psychological issues and mental health evaluations before getting access to guns? I think that's a comparable situation to your point about an ethnic group's respect and concern for its own population. Also while we're on that topic African Americans are not an ethnic group same as White people are not an ethnic group. You may not know this but ancestrally being from South Africa to Tunisia is about as ethically similar as Peru to  Texas.

I have my issues with BLM and many of the protestors, but if you cannot acknowledge a simple fact: Black individuals are killed in disproportionately higher rates by police than other races and that is wrong. Without saying "but..." and then insulting someone, then you should probably ask yourself why that is.

Seriously, Nrs, why support a program that goes against your core beliefs?

Led by Theo and Wojo, they say they don’t want someone who thinks like you do. And obviously, Marquette and Big East leadership agree with them.

Why do you want to keep caring about them or their program? It’s illogical.

I don't think it is. There are conservative posters that seem to get by without the conflict you consistently encourage. But if you feel that way so strongly, why do you keep coming back?

Again, you may need to reexamine the source of said problem.

Are we debating the merits of a group called White Lives Matter? Why are you bringing white mass shootings into the debate?
When did anyone ever ask me to agree or disagree with the fact that blacks are disproportionately killed or mishandled by the police? They are. No one ever asked me that. You might think that you are "calmly debating this," while your compatriots on this thread call me a "racist," when in fact you are calmly "lying" behind your keyboard. A very clownish thing to do, wouldn't you say?
OK - Blacks are not an ethnic group - what term should I use to describe the collectiveness with which BLM sees Black people? Please enlighten me.

You know what I find amazing?

A poster in this thread would 100% lose his job if these posts were connected to him in real life.

Happy Thanksgiving.
