Title: On the bright side...
Post by: Warrior of Law on March 01, 2020, 12:20:11 PM
If you would have told me that several starters would have such poor seasons (Koby & BB), Ed would leave, and despite that, the team could finish over .500 in a very good BE and be a virtual lock for the NCAA, I would have taken this position any day.  Sun is out, spring is here and we're not talking NIT.

McKewn and Bailey have been very inconsistent. We really need then to take a step up next year.
We have a chance to go 10-8, which given that Seton Hall and Creighton are on a different level than us would be a pretty good conference finish.

Surprisingly Ed leaving has not hurt the team. I thought we would have a big problem at center without Ed's five fouls. However, John and Johnson have done a very good job not fouling.

Just curious, what is our record since he left?

7-5. I think that's about what we would be with or without Ed.

Yeah...there is always that...we are not talking about the NIT...yet.
