Goose - unfortunately, your are correct - it will need to come to at least Wojo’s Farewell Tour, part 5 before this administration does anything. And that’s if they decide a winning basketball program matters to them.

Hope all is well in Seattle. Maybe, just maybe Wojo makes a lateral move after this season. With current state of program there are about 75 lateral programs out there, so it should not be a hard find. Maybe a trade for Wardle would make some folks on here happy.

An odd time for the team to become disgruntled when MU was surging up the rankings both years just prior to the “collapse.”

One can hope - my fear is with a second straight year end meltdown would scare schools off (not to mention another likely no NCAA tourney win). We should likely hope for some success at year end so somebody takes Wojo off marqette’s hands.

Yeah. His record is going to be 3 NCAA tournaments in 4 years. Some power conference teams would be happy to have him. Maybe not any good ones, but to think he couldn't find work is absurd.

Totally agree. He is a good P6 coach. Not bad, not very good, just good.

Both the losses were blowouts. I think the average margin of defeat was around 17 points. One as a lower seed, the other as the higher seed.
You have to admit that there have been a lot of "L"s over the last few years that were just ugly.
I think this kind of track record could matter.

I was hoping we would win 1 of the previous 3, but not surprised to lose all three. I also expect 2-2 or 3-1 down the stretch.
Who you play matters and so matchups. It’s why I said Creighton would beat us and Providence on the road was going to be very difficult.
I’ve had this team pegged the entire season and only missed one game so far...an overtime loss.
Comments by the team after the game were pretty good...they sense people whining and jumping off the bandwagon....they are sticking together. As am I.

You know I am big fan of you as a person, but no longer have credibility in regards to our program. You play games on here, which I love, but you accept us being a one and done program. Keeping posting, but try and stay away from serious ball conversations. You are great on everything non ball related.

Anytime somebody tells other people how much smarter they are about something it usually means they aren’t very smart regarding that topic. Not always the rule, but usually the smart people make it known by they’re actual intelligence, not by their ability to scream from the mountaintops how smart they are.
