Title: Blue and Gold Auction now open for bids
Post by: warriorchick on December 03, 2019, 12:11:34 PM

Here is one item I thought was a little interesting:

What's the story here?  Did Henry leave it in his locker?  Is the athletic department getting rid of things that they don't want any more?

Anyone have suggestions for other things they should auction off?  Joey's crying towel, perhaps?

Not sure on this one, but schools can purchase multiples of certain NCAA awards/plaques/etc. That’s how I have a Markus award for best 3FG% plaque

I know that...it's a joke.

Does MU no longer sell game-worn jerseys? They used to auction them off online but stopped a few years back, so I thought they'd have them at the B&G Auction.

It’s been a long, long time since they auctioned any gamers.  They stopped using the CBS sports auction platform a few years ago. Not sure when (or if) they’ll do auctions again. I hope they do.  I have a nice display of older jersey going at home, but I am itching for new items to bid on.

I want to buy one of those McCormick shirts for a Xmas present.  Do I have to bid?  They seem to (one of) the only items with a "buy now" banner.

I'm not great with the internet.

Lot of dough for something written in invisible ink.

If anyone's moving any Marquette game-used jerseys, let me know.

I think you just have to pay for it.

Thanks.  I called Vicki Clancy at the B&G Fund.  Very easy to work with; I got 3 shirts to give as gifts.  My Christmas shopping is done.
