Villanova at Ohio State
Michigan State at Seton Hall
Creighton at Michigan
Purdue at Marquette
Providence at Northwestern
Penn State at Georgetown
Minnesota at Butler
DePaul at Iowa
It's great to see Michigan State finally part of the series. Purdue will be a tough one at home.

Interesting that we’d get a repeat matchup so soon.
-
Yawn. Give me Minnesota or Northwestern and let Butler or PC have Purdue.
Dumb to be doing repeats already.
-
Tough but winnable matchup.
Cline and Edwards are gone, right?

Well, I've gotten to bet my oldest daughter each year when MU plays GU. Now, I'll have an opportunity to bet my middle daughter.

Not only a repeat but a repeat at the same location? At least make it at Purdue the following year.

So boring.
Probably woulda been MSU had our roster stayed intact.
Why couldn't they give us Minny instead?
Them and Purdue could be pretty similar anyways.
-
This is throwing a dart in the dark, but could Minnesota have requested not playing us, because we keep recruiting kids from their state?
-
My thinking is they had MU vs. Michigan St. penciled in before Joey’s transfer.

I would say this is an astute observation.

While that may be the case, there have been a number of repeats already. Xavier v Wisconsin. Penn State v DePaul. Georgetown v Maryland. Repeats happen all the time in the ACC/Big 10 challenge as well.

I guess I didn't realize that people would be bothered by playing Purdue again. I don't really care who we play as long as it is a good game. I mean they are basically a new team. Coach is this same but only three of the players on next year's roster (Haarms, Eastern, Luce) were on the roster when we played them in 17-18 and one of them is a walk on.
Tough but winnable game at home. They lose their only three players who started all 36 games for them last season (Edwards, Cline, and Eifert) but keep everyone else from a very good team. Recruiting class is pretty average but they bring in a high scoring grad transfer from High Point. Certainly not as good as Edwards but may help replace the scoring punch they lost. Will need guys like Eastern, Haarms, and Wheeler to take big steps forward if they want to avoid a drop off. Even so, think they are a top 3 or 4 team in the B1G next season.

Why would that change? Joey cannot even travel with the team next year.

I think he's talking about how good MU was projected to be before the Hauser's left...MSU-MU COULD have been a top 5 match up.

Groundhog Day. MU has to keep playing them until they beat them.

Yeah, I think we got bumped a little bit but it’s still going to be a good matchup. Would really like to beat one of these big ten teams early. There’s been some brutal ass kickings (Ohio state, indiana, Iowa, etc).
Maybe MU will draw MSU next year when joeys eligible.

So St. Johns and Xavier don't play for BE. But Big Ten is without Wisc, Rutgers, Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, and Indiana. How come they don't do 10 games?

Because the agreement is for 8 a year.

Nice, Indiana twice - Crean shout-out - its Indiana, its Indiana
