5 dimensional chess by Wojo... if Markus was going to be playing they wouldn’t show any video. But since he’s out they show a video of him running as if hes practicing to make it look like he’s playing.

Nerds here tried to impress the chicks with their knowledge of HIPPA (and I really don't care how it is spelled) as the reason coaches are not disclosing the status of injuries. That has nothing to do with it and detailing your (probably inaccurate but who cares) HIIPPAA knowledge is not getting you laid.
Instead, it is about coaches being control freaks and keeping this info to themselves.
The problem is sports gambling is exploding, thanks to the Supreme court allowing online gambling again. It is so big that many here still think it is 2003 and sports books merely balance the money and take the Vig. The business is so intensely cutthroat that sportsbook now take a bet and sometimes lose big.
The Big 10 ADs understand that keeping injury information only encourage lowlifes from the gambling industry to sneak around your program to get an edge in gambling (aka greasy haired Vinnie).
We think we are so smart by keeping Ed and Markus status a secret. We are ranked team playing on Sunday. Serious money is on the line. Some "greasy haired Vinnie" has been dispatched to the AL and he knows exactly what their status is. Some Providence booster paid that Vinnie for that info and Cooley knows it too.
Please do not be naive. People get knifed for less money than is on the line for a Sunday game with a ranked team.

That could be/indicate a LOT of different things.
It could...but I don’t think it’s a good sign. I have had low back issues for years, and my docs have always held off on steroid shots in favor of more conservative treatments.
I’d love to be wrong here.

Were you playing high D1 collegiate sports? I suspect that treatment for a D1 athlete that wants to be on the floor differs from every day Joe's treatment.
