Interesting to see Markus talking like a PG, saying he was running "my team" in the first practice at The Serv.
-
He knows where his future lies. I expect he will play some point the next two years.
-
I'm curious how camps like this work for college athletes. Does Marquette pay for this? Or did Markus have to pay? Or someone else? I assume that this is a business venture for CP3, but perhaps not.
It was a great interview, btw. Thanks for posting.

That's maybe the first time I've ever heard Markus mention defense in an interview. Has to be a good sign.

Stan said Markus would be a program changer/difference-maker. He is a great ambassador for Marquette and the program, in addition to being an incredible offensive talent.
Loved reading that he was looking to get teammates more involved. Felt at times last season he did get a little shot happy. See his ability to assist/pass more out of penetration situations is an area of improvement for him, and will help team a lot too.

nice article, thanks

Also liked this regarding Howard's interaction with Chris Paul:
He had nothing but good things to say about Coach Wojo and our program as well.

I liked reading that too. But, truth be told, I'd be surprised if there's an interview out there where someone who attended the camp is saying, "He totally dogged our coach, and said our program sucks."
