Have to say Henry. Even thou a lot of players involved at the end he had some huge rebounds and managed to avoid fouling out

The refs.  They let them play.

Henry deserves it. But a lot needs to be said about pretty much every player.

Luke: Had another biffed rebound that cost us, but he had some awesome rebounds in crunch time (the first one)
JJJ: did everything. Good passing. Timely Rebounds. Good shots. He's coming together nicely.
Haanif: outside of that horrible layup decision...this kid can play
Traci: Had some incredible moments. Dude reminds me of the old Buzz "junkyard dog" players we used to have
Duane: Relatively bad game but damn he finally made some FT's!
Cohen: Missed a huge one but his defense and rebounding was important.

Henry played great in front of Mitch Kupchak. Kudos to the young man!

Henry

Jujuan

I refuse to vote for anyone who made a bone headed play with 30 seconds on the clock.

Hank.

And if he goes, I hope he's joined in the NBA next season by Bentil. Enough of that guy!

Jajuan. In the first half, he was the spark that kept us in it. When we came back, Jajuan was the one who drove the effort. And when we couldn't pull away, he drilled the dagger three.

Henry was good, but every time we needed a play, Jajuan made it. 16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, he did everything tonight. I am incredibly excited about him for next year. The way he has raised his game is incredibly impressive. Definite SOTG tonight, with apologies to #13 (that was already handed the award, I see).

Traci. Had many key plays at critical times. And the way that he faced away from the bucket after he shot each of those last two free throws was completely badass.

I agree with your analysis. JJJ is a very complete player for us who increasingly understands his role.

Too many defensive mistakes.  I do agree that he has really turned a corner these last 5 or so games

The Team since it was a Team effort that won.

Hanif, JJJ and Traci were all great - and on a normal night....but 48 minutes, 26 and 16 by Henry can't be ignored.

Probably have to say Henry, but this was a true team effort.

A lot's been said about Jajuan, Haanif and Traci. But even Sandy and Duane contributed tough defense and steady play, committing only 2 turnovers combined in 60 minutes of play. Those 2 were part of the reason Dunn never took over the game and Providence shot just 38.9% from the field.

Duane also helped take the pressure off of Traci and Haanif coming up to receive inbounds passes when Providence was playing full-court defense. And he made all his free throws.

I love the player JJJ is turning into (although I didn't love him going for a steal and leaving Bentil wide open at the end of the second OT).

But Henry, from beginning to end, was quite good. Made some big plays down the stretch in the 2H and in both OTs. Had to hold down the fort down low for a huge chunk of the game because of Luke's real and phantom fouls. Plus ... 26-16.

I say Cheatham, because although Henry was great with 26/16...it is also hard to overlook the fact that the guy he was guarding went off for 42/12.

Also, shout out to JJJ.

Methinks you overlooked the fact that we played zone most of the night. And the fact that Bentil did major damage outside the arc, where he was being "defended" by guards and wings (and often nobody).

If the Lakers take HE, there will be riots out here.

Agree, JJJ has improved immensely simply by playing within himself, couldn't be more impressed.  That play at the end was old JJJ, though, lunging for a steal, taking himself out of position, and leaving his man wide open.  After seeing his progress, I'm sure he'll learn from that mistake.

For SOTG, either Henry or JJJ, either one is the right answer.

Let's fill the house and beat up on the Jays Saturday!  Go Warriors!

So it cancels out a 43 min 21 point, 6 reb, 2 assist, 1 TO, 1 foul performance? C'mon man, let the sunshine in.

Well, bilsu would have made both of those free throws if they would have put him in.  And had a triple-double on top of it.

How can the Lakers take HE? You've said on multiple occasions he won't be a one and done. Are you changing your prediction?
