Journal sports business reporter passed away from a massive heart attack this morning. Nice guy. Very sad news.
-
Good friend of my brother, awful news. Prayers for him and his family.
-
Are you certain it was his heart? Don was in very good cardio shape. He was a season ticket holder, big fan of the MU BB program and a wonderful husband, father and good guy.
R.I.P.

Apparently he was on the treadmill and his heart just stopped. Tragic. MU grad of Journalism in mid 1970s.

RIP Don. One of their solid reporters. He'll be missed.
-
Knew him well way back when. Very sad news.
-
A very solid reporter. Enjoyed the pieces he wrote . An MU guy who did a great job. Very sad.
-
Knew "Doak" well from my MU days. Two guys across the hall in Schroeder freshman and sophomore years were also from Detroit Brother Rice High and were good friends of Don so he was always around th 5th floor.
Very sad news, he was a really good guy.
RIP Don.

RIP
He took plenty of grief here by posters over the years....unneeded.

Chicos back to save the day!

Walker was an honest broker, who wrote what he thought based on the facts he had. Despite being a MU alum, he had no problem calling out the good with the bad. That rubbed enough people here the wrong ways over the years.
RIP...to an honest man that reported the right way.

Thanks for setting the record straight. Where would Scoop be without you?
-
Yeah, where would be with out that great piece about TJ Taylor only being on campus for two weeks. I waited for the additional info that he was sure to publish bout the topic, but..........it never came.
