He actually has some assits off swinging the ball early. But just stopped doing it for some reason.

Duane, Matt and Luke should get all the looks. JJJ if he has an open drive and steve if a dump off opens up

Can JJJ even bench the bar ? He is one of the weakest players I've ever seen. He wouldn't be the strongest player on the court in a high school freshman game. He can't grab the basketball. It just flies out of his hands everytime.

You see Fischer yelling at Derrick, who was dribbling 10 feet beyond the circle, wow.........

He was yelling to Wojo, not Derrick.  He didn't understand what the play call was.

I'll add, he never did figure out what the play call was, as he was suppose to come up and set a pick on Derrick's defender and didn't.

This team is an embarrassment to the University. To put a team on the floor like this with the amount of money invested in this program says a lot about the University leadership over the past two years including BBall coach, Athletic Director and President. Derrick Wilson has to be the worst player ever to wear an MU jersey.  Gonna take years to recover from the past 2 debacle years. Hard to believe someone looked at JJJ and said we need to give him a 4 year scholarship. Hire Kevin O'Neill to save us again as he did years ago

MU getting destroyed on boards again.  22 to 10, with a 10 to 2 difference on offensive rebounds.

Fischer, Cohen, JJJ, Du. Wilson all string beans and Taylor can't jump two inches.  Like men against boys again.

Wojo better address this with some PF, even with Henry coming next year.

Fischer just got 3 fouls called on him in 2 minutes. They all were very ticky tack.

Also, teams who play zone vs us just completely suffocate us. They play 5 feet off Derrick and it makes it completely impossible for any offense. This is rough.

I've been on this road to Irrelevance years ago in the 1990's. It sure feels like that again. MU leadership needs to get a very strong message from the alumni that this is not acceptable. This is the 2nd year in a row that I refuse to go to games for a team like this in a downgraded conference. I'm done for the season. Ask yourself why Dunn and DeRosiers go to Providence instead of MU. Over and out...I know what the responses will be

Well Dunn is a sophomore which means he was being recruited when we were coming off an elite 8, big east championship and had made 10/12 ncaa tournaments so your point about him going to providence because we're irrelevant makes absolutely no sense.  The point with derosiers makes even less sense because he's a senior and providence was irrelevant while we were the most consistent team in the big east.

Young guys have 27 games under their belt now and still no better.  Game experience is only thing they have gained and it will take more than a strength coach to bulk up JJJ, Cohen, Fischer and Du. Wilson.  No Crowder, DJO and Gardner types, heck even Jamil Wilson and Junior had some bulk.  Current team looks like my local high school build.

MU needs a big ass PF and a PG bad.  Henry will help, but Duane, Henry and Luke only true starters next year.  Any recruit who can shoot will have plenty of pt.

MU needs a lot of things...but the main thing is to have players who have something to bring on both sides of the ball. That's a huge part of the problem this year.

Maybe I'm watching a different game but the guys in blue seem to be working hard out there. Nice Wojo huddle moment.

Agreed.  Gotta give it to Wojo in that regard.

I mean, really, these guys cut the lead in half and I'm seeing all these posts about how they're not trying!?! We are overmatched here and down 10, er, 12, er, 14.

Here we come.  If they don't get it to Du every time down the floor, they're just stupid......cuz that last shot by Du was sick.

We would have all celebrated if we signed Dumn and DeR. - that's a fact although I have to admit I thought they would be better than #25. Derrick and Juan have to be the least improved 4 year seniors since their freshman year. In this new age of sports, sarcastically I say, maybe we can find some way to get them a trophy at year end.

We look over matched at every position with no dominating players.  What happened to Todd Smith?  He sure failed this year.

Du Wilson is keeping them in it, otherwise down over 20, shooting clinic, get him a PG next year.  JJJ must have grease on his hands today, really????

MU is down 17 to 5 in offensive rebounds.  Almost doubled totally.

General bench attitude seems pretty positive - can't decide whether to take that as optimism or naïvety.

Hate to be the pessimist, but this game is going to end up looking a lot closer than it really was.  You can't count on ANY team (college or NBA) hitting 3's at this rate.

Calling that last Du. Wilson 3 "from another country" was nearly accurate.  And it was relatively contested.  Difficult not to categorize that as plain arrogance.

Well we get to play DePaul twice in the next 10 days, could use that as a positive end to the season, we def match up with them could win both games

One of two things is true: 1) The game is close enough to still be won, in which case we should at least take a DECENT shot (yeah, he's hot, but that doesn't mean him shooting from just past half court is a better look than someone else from a more reasonable distance) or 2) The game is more-or-less over, in which case chucking up 3s from that distance is completely useless (it's neither beneficial from a growth perspective, nor particularly sportsmanlike (again, sportsmanship within the specified context of an out-of-hand game)).  Either way, you can't justify that shot.
