recruit guys that can shoot from the perimeter. This has been our achilles heal the last few seasons. It just pains me to see our guys get open shots and miss. Were getting the bigs we complained about for so many seasons. Now lets get some guys that can make their shot and score from the perimeter.

He's 2/2 on players he actually brought in.

That's a good point. the two players that Wojo brought in are two most consistent three point shooter. He also took Juan and Derrick, who had career 3 PT percentages in the toilet, and got them to a place where they can make the occasional open three. Bodes well for the future.

Have players practice free throws

I'm not concerned about Wojo recruiting and developing shooters in the least

Sandy can shoot the 3(18 for 42 or 43%). His percentage is the essentially the same as Carlino (44%).
While inconsistent, Duane can shoot the three (26 for 81 or 32%)
Henry is suppose to be Steve Novak like.
Noskawiak and Cheatham are supposed to be shooters too.
Problem solved

Henry is supposed to be a much better all around player than Steve but I don't think he's considered nearly as good a shooter.

And Heldt is supposedly an excellent shooter for his position

Considering that Novak might be one of the best shooters the human race has ever produced, I'm not sure what this means. Who do you expect will ever be better than Novak at shooting?
-
This is why I want Sam Hauser for 2016. From what I hear he's lights out

Not just shooter but guys able to defend the 3 shot as well.

Defending jumpers is a coaching problem.

For a team that primarily plays zone, they're doing a good job of defending the three. On the season, teams are shooting 33% from deep against MU.

SHU was shooting 27% from 3 in BE play prior to last night. If anything, MU overreacted a little bit to the 3-pt barrage and starting overplaying which opened up drives for easy buckets.

Steph Currey is pretty decent.

It's the best three point shooting team since Lazar's senior year. Chill.

Watched Hauser a few times this summer. His shot is a beautiful thing. Not the quickest release but tall enough to shoot over most defenders. If he improves his agility he could be great, and if not he will still be a good 4 year player.

You said he was like Steve Novak. He isn't. He certainly has the ability to knock down the 3 point shot, but he is not a sniper, nor is that the strength of his game.
-
Guys like Tyrone Outlaw and Dequon Miller could help a lot. Both can hit from outside.

Well, the discussion was about 3 point shooting and you compared HE to Novak, saying "Henry is suppose(d) to be Steve Novak like". Well he shoots some threes, but nothing like Steve did and his overall game is nothing like Steve's. So...

Ok, A little more explanation. Henry is a 4 that has three point range. That is what makes him "Novak like."
Next year we could put four players on the court (plus Luke) that are legit three point shooters. The year we often have three (excluding Luke and Derrick) and sometimes two (when Derrick Steve and Luke are on the floor). Having four threats changes a lot of things. Defense cannot pack in the lane so a lot more things open up.

Henry is a tall, white guy with perimeter skills so he's either Steve Novak, (former Buck) Dirk Nowitzki or Larry Bird. With Steve out, I guess he's either Dirk or Bird.

Or Paul Mokeski

I've said it before, I'll say it again. Henry's game is like Rasheed Wallace

A cross-race comparison? Is that allowed?

Volatile with bubblegum in his hair, hey?

Rasheed Wallace sucks and is slow. He's more like Tim Thomas but better.
-
Rasheed would destroy Tim Thomas. They're not even close
-
He's like Larry Sanders with some Luke Axtell sprinkled on top.
