It's embarrassing that Marquette lost to a more talented team? People need to realize Marquette isn't any good this year, I've given up on the win/loss record, just want to see players improve. So far, I've been pleased.

I too have given up on wins and losses. But whatever progress the team has showed has been sporadic. Derrick has been better than what I expected, Juan has been much worse, JuJuan has been disappointing to say the least, and Duane plays well in stretches but not consistently (about what you would expect from a frosh). Sandy can be a player, but Fischer needs 15 pounds of muscle to compete in this league. I think Sandy, Duane, Fischer, Wally and all four freshmen will see a boatload of minutes next season.

Seton Hall impressed me, especially considering they were without Whitehead.  They're definitely good, and definitely look like an NCAA team, deep, and some highly skilled guys.  Glad for them.  Great for the conference to have them on the rise again. Too bad it was at our expense tonight.

Considering you just named eight of our current ten scholarship players for next season, that seems like a safe bet.

I was leaving out two people deliberately even if they both stay..

10 point losses to Georgetown and Seton Hall end up looking the same, but one was close and one was not.
