This team is currently ineligible to be in the NCAA tournament or the Summit League conference tournament as it is in transition from being a Division II team. So.... they're not a full fledged Division I team yet. Last year they played in the Summit League but were ineligible for postseason play as well. 2012-2013 this team began their transition from Division II and won't be eligible for postseason play until 2017. The only tournament they can play in, is the CIT tournament until 2017.

Perhaps THE worst loss in history @ Home in the Bradley Center at least.

Don't say worst home loss yet. Lots of home games to go.

Would NJIT be worst home loss ever?

oh, and NJIT will be hungry after their near miss to powerhouse Mass-Lowell today.

This is dumb. Stop. This was a terrible loss, buy it's a d1 team. They were picked to finish 5th in a D1 conference. They play a d1 schedule. They won 11 games last year against D1 teams.

It wasn't a loss to Western Michigan in the NIT, this renders you opinion just plain stupid

I wonder if FS1 will show baseball instead.

You've mentioned this point ad nauseam on this board since yesterday. Are you going to harp like this after every loss? I'm going to guess you will, so my first use of the ignore button goes to you.

No wound at all for me.
It was the third basketball game of the season for a team in transition that is searching for its identity, and the third game in an era that promises lots of great victories.
Winning is preferable to losing, so the game sucked. But sorry, oh Dark Lord of Douchebaggery, you'll get no over-the-top reaction from intelligent consumers of Marquette basketball.
