But fans saw some really good moments from the still developing Golden Eagles. #freestevetaylor destroyed the Ohio State zone. The Marquette ‘D’ forced 13 first half turnovers. And perhaps […]<img alt="" border="0" src="http://pixel.wp.com/b.gif?host=painttouches.com&blog=28348875&post=12216&subd=painttouches&ref=&feed=1" width="1" height="1" />

They cannot be any good, because they finished 17-15 last year.

Their mascot is the Mavericks. Yet another mascot better than Golden Eagles.

Arguably everyone on our schedule has a better mascot than a Golden Eagle, with the exception of UND (the Artist formerly known as Fighting Sue)... and, of course, Wisconsin.

True, but I've heard they have trouble connecting to known wifi networks.

UT Martin even managed to have a bird mascot that is cool.

Great play on words. . .

These guys actually have a couple interesting JUCO Transfers and the kid from Wichita State. Nothing to immensely worry about but any game is a good stepping stone for the guys. We should roll easily but stranger things have happened. I hope to see great defensive effort because we got ran out of the gym in transition against Ohio State.

Yea, but's only because their coach was trying to throw games by keeping the best 5 welded to the bench

Jake White is one of a few Minnesota kids.

They also have starting guard Marcus Tyus and big F Mike Rostampour. Rotampour can flat out rebound with the best of him. Strong dude.
