Twitter is exploding over Gordon's day today... does no one realize they're playing Bowling Green?

I just find it amusing to see the UW fans comments on the big east basketball conference.  When in reality their football program just took a major step back with regards to who they play in conference every year.

Do their fans get excited about that monstrous conference slate?

I like to watch college football when it is a big game.  Just like i like to watch college hoops when its a big game even if its not MU.  If Duke is on, UNC, even UW or a top notch match-up.

For UW this season.  I wanted to see them play LSU.  Thats it...

That's what I never understood about college football.  In Wisconsin's case, the only games that could be considered legitimate contests are Nebraska and LSU.

For many teams the entire season is based on about 3 games…I have always just found it extremely boring to watch in those regards.

I quit watching college football several years ago, and now really just glance at scores every once in awhile, hoping that the whole season becomes a complete mess due to some upsets.

That's why watching them piss down their leg was so enjoyable.  Their schedule so soft they could easily go undefeated if they beat LSU and actually earn a bid into the playoffs, which would be sad since the conference isn't very good and their schedule deplorable.

How many non-legitimate games will MU play this season? And, this is not meant as a defense of UW, by the way.

But, my interest in college football pretty much mirrors yours.

I completely agree.  This makes my point.  They look down their noses at the Big East for Basketball.  Yet, MU has Georgetown, Villanova, Xavier on a consistent basis.  And at times Creighton and Butler are very very good.

Who's "exploding" over Gordon and the Vadgers? Must have missed all that. Everyone I know seems to realize the Big 10 is garbage...and UW's schedule is a complete joke. Are Becky fans doing cartwheels because they've beaten Western Illinois and now Bowling Green??? Hahahaha. Well, it is America's #2 party school...so I assume those fans are too damn drunk to notice UW's pathetic competition.

Watching LSU get annihilated tonight at home by Mississippi State is making me laugh....sorry Becky, you pissed yourself and it wasn't that good a team that you pissed yourself against.

When is UW-madison going to stop playing Jump Around with their anti-women lyrics.....tragic

I'll serve your ass like John McEnroe
If your girl steps up, I'm smacking the ho

And pro gun violence.....

Anyone stepping to me you'll get burned
'Cause I got lyrics but you ain't got none
If you come to battle bring a shotgun
But if you do you're a fool, 'cause I duel to the death
Trying to step to me you'll take your last breath
I got the skill, come get your fill
'Cause when I shoot to give, I shoot to kill

Yup, Vadger fans like to pick and choose what they get "outraged" about. Native American imagery....yes. Guns and violence against women...I guess not.

I agree, but Bowling Green did beat Indiana,  who won at ranked Missouri on Saturday.
