Title: Doc Rivers could have been a Warrior or a Bull
Post by: 77ncaachamps on July 23, 2014, 06:46:16 PM
In 1982, Golden State traded their 1983 2nd round pick (Doc's pick) to the Bulls.

In 1983, Bulls then sent that pick to the Hawks as compensation for Kevin Loughery (Head Coach).
Hawks then drafted Doc.

What annoyed me about Doc as a pro was that as a pro, he was a proficient free throw shooter.  But while at Marquette, he was mediocre at best.

I feel better now.
