I hit upon an idea a couple of weeks ago to collect all the Scoop memes, record them and create a tournament bracket to decide the ultimate Scoop meme.
Scoop, per usual, came through with flying colors forcing me to put together a 68 meme bracket that's taken me a little longer than anticipated to complete. Nevertheless, I believe I've got everything put together and just need to start publishing to Scoop tonight. I will be making extensive use of the Wiki and the poll functionality in Scoop.
So here is how this is going to play out. I will create polls for each match up and those match ups will have approximately 48 hours to be voted on. Once 48 hours is passed the meme with the most votes in each match up will move on. I'm going to try and do 4 match-ups every two days(so 4 polls). Feel free to post in the threads especially if you are correcting something I screwed up.
I should have everything kicked off tomorrow starting with the 4 play-in games. To wet your beak please see the PDFs in the next post

Wow!!! "It's Happening" comes out of nowhere gets a 4-seed after a short lifespan and will take on "Andy Katz is a Badger" at #13.

ummm don't tell my work since they subsidized a fair amount, like with most of my Scoop posting.....besides using a lot of search, excel filtering, and generally lazy writing shorted the process fairly significantly.

I believe there could be an entire 64 meme tournaments featuring exclusively Crean related things.
Whether it be giving his son all the awards at camp, getting gold Hummers for all coaches, the hyperbaric chamber, leaving Chapman home and bringing freshman to NYC for media day, turning over his entire coaching staff multiple times, his sweaty pregame speeches, his ties, calling a female Memphis fan fat, his father in law, Ben Sheets/Mike McCarthy/Tony LaRussa, showing up at Bulls practice to watch Scott Merritt get cut, the Gold, losing by 47 points at Louisville, trailing by 29 points at half (!) in New Orleans...the list goes on and on and on!
What a Dick that guy was!!

I was disappointed that Derrick vs Dawson didn't make the Tournament. I went to see how it was doing in the Scoop NIT but was surprised to see it wasn't invited there either.

FYI, since the official 64 don't kick off until tomorrow....if anyone knows of a bracket tool that's quick and easy I wouldn't mind setting something up for everyone to submit their brackets into. Just a random thought.

There must be some CPAs among us. I suggest we have someone from Arthur Andersen manage the tabulations to eliminate even the slightest whiff of taint. This tournament is too important for Marquette to have any suggestion of impropriety.
