You do remember that Brent was an assistant at MU for a year before he was named head coach of MU. And as an assistant he was recruiting Fulce and Butler to MU. So when he became the head coach of MU, he kept right on recruiting them to MU.
Wojo was recruiting for a different school until three weeks ago.

let's be honest-when butler and fulce came to marquette, we didn't really know what we had. if there is someone out there who predicted jimmy was going to be as good as he turned out to be, as a leader, and then go on to have a respectable(ongoing) career in the nba, i'll donate $$ to the three frats in trouble at mu. just kidding. also, joey f.? great guy. big heart. if not for his injuries, i think he would have played a bigger role, but...
