This guy is a complete hack, just drumming up noise with his "Sources". This morning he announced that unnamed sources informed him that Nik Stauskus was leaving Michigan and heading to the NBA. Within 15 minutes the poor kid had to issue a statement that there was no truth to that and he has still not made up his mind.
Goodman man turn out to be correct in the end, but here is another example of the crap job that is Jeff Goodman.

Plus Julius Randle yesterday.
Whiff.
-
I guess if you keep throwing it out there, eventually something will stick
-
Is this an attempt to defend Jim Ganzer DONE DEAL?
-
Source? Are you around?
-
Social media and tech has forced news agencies to bite on breaking news.
Either be left behind and considered an "old" news source
or look silly with the rest of the major media outlets that "break" the news story.

Rex Chapman - Calipari to Lakers. Dan Patrick: ....... and the whiff......

Goodman is easily one of the most reliable sports reporters on twitter. if he says anything it has legs and he heard it from a reliable source. This little thing called ESPN doesn't just hire anyone

Is it a crap job if he's right though?

Stauskas is clearly going to the NBA. So, too, is Randle. This isn't another failure. It's more a matter of the player themselves wanting to control the narrative after their loose lips have let the news slip. It's a silly game of ego douching.

Not only an ego thing but these players have to stick around campus and listen to idiots like the ones on this board pretending its best they go back to school another year. The longer they wait the better.

Thanks - saved me the trouble of writing it.

Nope, Reliable Source is my uncle. I'm pretty sure he's fed up with talking to the media and retired now.

You're very wrong on that.

When Goodman is proved right on both of these, I'm guessing these posters will return here to admit they were wrong.

Yeah..... I'm sure they will.
I was surprised Walker decided to stay another year. Was expected to be a lottery pick.
Will be very, very surprised if Parker stays for one more year.

No iam not. ESPN hires the best of the best in the sports reporting world, like it or not. Just cause your jaded and hate on ESPN doesn't mean they don't hire quality people.

Good for Parker. I felt he couldn't make a wrong decision here. If he returned to Duke, it would have been because he loved it there. If he went pro, as he has, it's because it's always been his dream.
I'd draft him No. 1 and never look back.

Would like to see him play for the Bucks since he was STJ's teammate in Chicago at Simeon HS. Might help our Chicago recruiting.
