Nothing says this was even about basketball.
I want the kid at marquette but let's not dissect every tweet. Kids tweet a lot of stupid stuff. Maybe it was about whether he should or shouldn't snap chat the large dump he just took to one of his buddies. Dissect that.

Anyone willing to chip in a few bucks to keep Mizzou out of the picture? I figure with $100, we use $20 to register an LLC, via the LLC we send a $60 donation to the Mizzou's Athletics fund, and with the rest we send a large pizza to Med's house.
Document everything, UPS it to Indianapolis, and then we won't have to worry about Mizzou anymore. Unless they're into "booster" violations.
EDIT: Of course, the pizza will be sent anonymously so that Med doesn't get in trouble.

That tweet could mean a million different things. Hopefully it's not about marquette as I wanna see him play for us but no sense in trying to decipher it.
My guess is that he is debating whether to wake up and get mcdonalds breakfast or try taco bells new (amazing) breakfast menu.

Aquinas' Ahmed Hill finishes career with 3,000 points, individual honors

The quiet ninth grader sitting alone at the front of the bus still prefers to let his basketball play speak for him as a senior.
Ahmed Hill, admittedly shy when younger, has always felt at home on the court. With more than 3,000 career high school points, it’s easy to see why The Augusta Chronicle’s All-Area Georgia Boys Basketball Player of the Year felt at ease.
But the Aquinas star has opened up more since he arrived at the school prior to his sophomore year. After attending Peach County for a year, Hill moved to Aquinas, where his grades improved and he steadily got better at the game he loved.
Usually comfortable talking with only his mother and brother, Hill found comfort with the Aquinas community.
“Aquinas has been a new family,” Hill said. “They taught me how to open up to people more and make new friends.”
The school also taught him how to study, prepare for class and manage time – all necessary gains as major college programs offered scholarships.
With the basketball in his hands, Hill took the Irish to the Class A private state quarterfinals despite a relatively new supporting cast around him. He was willing to handle point guard duties, if needed, or score inside.
A younger Hill honed his skills at South Peach Park in Fort Valley, Ga., often playing against older people – like his brother, Braxton.
So when Hill reached high school and transferred to Aquinas, he was ready to star. This season, Hill was the Georgia Sports Writers Association's Class A Player of the Year.
“It’s been great,” Hill said. “I came up here and tried to become the best player to come through here. I just think I took my game to another level.”
Hill will have to do so again next season, when Rivals.com’s No. 69 recruit for the 2014 class begins his college career.
The Aquinas star signed with Marquette in November, though Golden Eagles coach Buzz Williams has since moved to Virginia Tech. Hill can either choose to stay a future Golden Eagle, or he could ask for a release.
Regardless of what happens, Irish coach Bernie Norris is ready to see Hill at the next level.
“He’s the kind of individual that’s going to give you that much more every day. He’s the guy that’s always going to want to walk off the floor last,” Norris said. “He shouldn’t have a problem making a transition. He’s going to learn a lot of things and he’ll soak it up like a sponge.”

The only recruits we know for sure Wojo has met with face to face with are Cohen and Noskowiak and he's done well keeping them in the fold. Haven't seen anywhere that Wojo has ever met with "Mayok" so where is your information coming from?

Maybe Wojo doesn't need to meet with Ahmed because, you know, Ahmed signed an LOI with MU and was quoted in the paper saying he was going to stay with Marquette while he posts pictures of himself on Twitter wearing a MU lanyard?

Today starts spring signing day. April 27th is the deadline to declare for the NBA draft. Presumably we will get a decision by the end of the month. My one great concern is that Hill is waiting to see how many KU, UK, and Duke guys leave and whether one of those programs comes calling after the announcement, however, he'd need to request out of his NLI first.

Why not ask out now, or last week? That way he can talk to Self, Calipari and/or Cocah K directly and not through second hand backdoor intermediaries.
If he asks out, he can still decide to go to MU later.
That's why the longer this goes without him asking out, the better it is for us. Ditto Satchel Pierce for the same reason.

Yea, all has been quiet on the western front in terms of Satchel and AH. Would like to see Satchel come just so he can develop and be a solid player after Steve leaves. AH obviously I would love to see him come here but there are a lot of players fighting for that 2/3 role which isnt a bad thing it will just be interesting to see how Wojo divvy's up the minutes.

Pierce is really important even if he is raw, need some size on the bench, plus I would rather take a flyer on a big to improve, much like Devante. Pierce and Fisher at least replaces the 2
bigs lost. Hill would be a nice addition, but he does move into a crowded backcourt.

Izzo's rule that college basketball fans forget that is older than three weeks strikes again? Cohen re-commit was close enough to three weeks so you think Wojo has failed to keep anyone?

You and your Wojo can't recruit mantra. The only player he's officially lost is Hill, who has a long standing relationship with the former coach. Shayok may or may not end up at MU and we don't know about Pierce yet. Have you been able to get everything you've ever wanted? Give the guy a little breathing room and let's see what he can do on an even playing field.

Something doesn't seem right. AH said he was probably staying at MU unless he heard something he didn't like from Wojo. Then he writes a tweet on the 10th saying he's not coming to MU, but doesn't release it until the 16th.

And are we certain that Wojo wants all of Buzz's recruits? Who knows why Hill loves Chew & Williams...but Wojo has his own vision for the team and he will build it his way. I think Hill would have been an awesome addition, but maybe Wojo didn't. Don't assume anything.

Chew was no longer employed by MU nor was he attached to any university.
He was free to speak on and about anything, I feel.

Not sure why you're arguing with what I said because that wasn't the point I was trying to make. Chew could've been talking to Hill while he was "unattached" which could be why his hiring wasn't announced until Hill got his release.
