Any suggestions for a Hotel in downtown Chicago for October 16th?  I want to be relatively close to the shopping, museum, aquarium, etc.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Not sure if money is a big concern, but just booked my mom for a Saturday night at the fancy Crowne Plaza in downtown and absolutely loved it. It was through Priceline.com name your own price. $125.

You can pick the number of stars and the part of the city you want. So if you are putting down 4 stars and only bidding $150, you can't go wrong.

If money REALLY isn't the issue, Hyatt Place on Michigan Ave.

It is right across the street from the water tower and the Hancock.  Very expensive but VERY nice

If money isn't an issue, stay at the Penninsula Hotel.

Lol, I was going along the lines of keeping it cheap. Not too familiar with the area but I doubt you could spend less than a $100 on a Saturday night to be right downtown.

Go for Magnificent mile on priceline... not a bad hotel there.  I usually get about $100 + taxes there.  Shopping is right there.  You'll pay for parking though which is $20 or so a day if you stay at the hotel.

I'm down with the Peninsula. Makes the Four Seasons look like a Motel 6.

I had your mom and a hotel room for $125 a night!   ;D

That's what I did. Got the Drake for $75 night. Parking's "moida" though...

The Drake hasn't taken my priceline bait yet.... hopefully they will at some point.
That's a hell of a deal.
