More Big East Roundtable

Written by: noreply@blogger.com (Rob Lowe)

Part Two of the Big East Roundtable (http://theeastcoastbias.wordpress.com/2010/07/21/big-east-roundtable-july-pt-2/) is now up.  Today's question is "Tell us about your recruiting class for next year?"  You already know the Marquette piece (or maybe you don't).  However, the scan around the league is well worth it.  Did you miss Part One?  Find it here (http://theeastcoastbias.wordpress.com/2010/07/20/big-east-roundtable-july-pt-1/).

In the continuing adventure of sequels, here is Part Two of the story on Jae Crowder and his dad (http://www.times-georgian.com/view/full_story/8819895/article-Following-in-the-footsteps?instance=TG_sports_news).  I already think this kid is great.  Oh yeah, Part One is here (http://www.times-georgian.com/view/full_story/8814203/article-Out-of-the-Shadows---of-thy-Father--Jae-s-hardcourt-journey-of-dreams?instance=TG_sports_news).

Chris Grimm is going to be paid to play professionally in France (http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=21097.0) (HT:  77ncaachamps).  Insert your own French joke here.

In case you've encountered issues reaching CS yesterday and today, we've been experiencing a bit of DDOS attacks.  Seems someone wants to keep us from getting the Marquette news out there.  Evidently they don't realize it's summer and we can do that all on our own, thank you.  Just be patient if you're not getting through.  Or go read it on MUScoop.

The following was posted by one of Nova's 3 bloggers:

"JayVaughn Pinkston was a McDonalds All-American who played power forward in high school. At 6’6″, however, it remains to be seen where he will actually line up as a Wildcat. He has shooting range out to 3-point territory and has suggested that he views himself as a guard on the next level. At Villanova, though, he will play on the frontline and is expected to contribute there right away."

Should we designate someone to go to the Nova board and start a Maymon thread?  Maybe Tim Maymon.

How can Marquette expect to contend for the Big East title, let alone a final four with only one blogger?  No disrespect intended CrackedSidewalks.

BTW, whoever came up with the idea of a big East round table, it was a good one.

The same cats who debated the shape of the Paris peace talks table during the Vietnam war.

Damn you're old!  You win the: "Why isn't this post in the Super Bar," poster of the day award, if you can say what shape they finally settled on.
