Vander has some interesting things to say about coaches constantly finding ways to contact him.  Interesting stuff.

From part 1:  "Wisconsin just wasn't for me.  It's still a great place and I would recommend them to anyone that would ask me"

This kid is only 17 and he's got more class than half of Badger Nation...Welcome to MU, Vander...you're exactly the type of PERSON that we want representing us...

Sounds like a very intelligent young man. Good honest interview. Seems much more mature than his 17 years. I can't wait to see him in blue and gold and representing MU.

What a well spoken young man.  He has a lot more perspective going into his Senior year of HS than I did at that point in my life.

Twice as excited about Blue after hearing what he had to say here... Sounds like a real solid dude.  "We're gonna do something special."

Seems to be very mature and have a great head on his shoulders.  Also seems to be a perfect fit at MU.  Definitely sounds like he was spot on about needing to grow up quickly with the recruiting circus.  As has already been said, it seems like he could set foot on campus tomorrow and be ready to go based on his character and his game.  Hopefully he can relax a little now and enjoy his senior year.

Interesting that text leads off with "At 10 a.m. this morning, Madison Memorial Senior Vander Blue called Marquette coach Buzz Williams and committed to play basketball for the Golden Eagles next season."

.. In IWB's article, it said Blue told him at "this afternoon's practice" .. which I think meant "Friday's afternoon practice".

Well spoken, seems to have a great perspective.  I like that when he talked about what Buzz had to say to him he said Buzz made it all about him, how he was going to help Vander Blue mature, grow as a man, and learn about life...I can't imagine too many Crean recruits would have had similar comments.  Can't wait for "something special" next year

I like that he's already thinking that he'll be at the Kohl Center his sophomore year.  Not in any sort of revenge way, just that he's already thinking ahead.  Nice level of preparedness.
