SWEEET. Here i come
I'm 28 years old, 5'10, 205 lbs, with a vertical of about 18". But I do have all four years of eligibility. Thank God I didn't declare for the Draft back in '02.
What is the limit of kids you an have on a bb team. I know there is a scholie limit -
don't you lose your eligibility by playing intramural basketball?
Reminds me of the movie "Invincible"-- walk on Vince Papale, a 30-year-old bartender from South Philadelphia who overcame long odds to play for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles in 1976.

Gwaki, are you telling me we need a gold guy for this season??
Me, Rican, DKCL, and Ziggy are working out right now and taking pills to cure white man's disease. Also, checking with the NCAA clearing house on eligibility issues.
EA has been giving daily massages on our aching joints and as soon as Hurley OK's the move, we're in.
Eat your frickin' heart out, Crean!

Yes...
Man, I wish the walk-on event was filmed just like ESPN's "Knight School" .. great show.

Been done.
One of my great regrets is that I didn't try out. Not that I think I had a chance to make it, but because of the experience. I was good enough that I wouldn't have embarassed myself, and it would have been fun. If any of you students reading the board are good enough to make an honest effort, you should try out. Don't be like me and regret it.
i am really thinking about it. I told the "eagles" last night about it and they laughed but just think about how much fun you could have at those tryouts
Haha hey Gwaki, Avenue Commons was good enough where he wouldn't embarass himself. You on the other hand would embarass yourself haha.
I picture you getting every shot blocked by Maurice if it wasn't stolen first.
Its all about the effort
